Then, in the middle of summer, you could check which variety you planted for your seed order. You might also be able to track year on year to remember what did well when.  Then you could plan your planting and your square footage to maximize yields year round. The plant labels that are available are either crappy, or expensive, or bulky. So I made my own plant labels. This little DIY plant label project was super simple and quick.
