It makes sense to have a copy of my website on my local computer so I can test stuff out.<\/h1>\n

Wow. Creating a local copy of the WordPress site was, and continues to be, not that simple.<\/p>\n

Here is my conceptual thought cloud list on how to get your WordPress website in two places.<\/p>\n

  1. Have two servers (put wamp on home computer)<\/li>\n
  2. Understand that your website (WordPress) uses a database (MySQL)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    When I understand those two things in my soul I believe moving a WordPress site will be just a matter of clicking a few buttons. Here are some links to help you along the way if you are wanting your own localhost:<\/p>\n
