This is a blog associated with a store. Running an online store takes quite a few steps. Some have been accomplished. I did receive payment for an item ordered from my shopping cart. Sure, it was just a wooden dowel that I sold my husband. But, it worked. For the record, PayPal won’t let you sell something to yourself so you must have at least one buddy in the e-commerce world. For now I am using the PayPal that you can install for free. It is a little bit, well, maybe a lot, wonkey, don’t freak out, please complete your purchase. It works. So feel free to buy something.
My other e-commerce hurdle is establishing a contact form on my website that collects emails so that I can get to know you, my fair reader. This is not as simple as I suspected. The wonderful thing is that now I have the opportunity to learn server side scripting. Yay. There are so many things that PHP might stand for. Pretty helpful people? Polite hippopotamus patrol? I don’t know what it really stands for. But, I am going to learn. And soon, you will be able to let me know that you visited my blog. And then I can email you. And then I can cross check you zip code with the garden zones and weather and send you personalized emails to remind you plant your okra and cover your lemons. Won’t that be completely amazing! See you in the future!
