Okra Plants Starting To Produce
Spring, TX
My ego knows no bounds and so I say with a full voice, “Prepare for Okra!” We might be verging on pod a day harvests. Or more! Ah, don’t get too excited. While we ate the first Okra of the season in a wonderful Okra Garden Supply Lunch, the next three pods are withered and will not be eaten. I harvested two pods the same day I took the photo above. I will eat those pods tonight.
So glad to see this blossom again in the garden. An inspiration. These plants started as seeds in small pots, probably in early February. Slow and steady is not so much my goal as my only hope. It also works. So, again I say, “Prepare for Okra!”
